I am Megan Holstein
I build companies and write things.
I’ve always had the entrepreneur’s bug. At fifteen, instead of getting a food service job at Wendys, I started my own app development business. At seventeen, I wrote a book about it. At nineteen, I self published my book Idea to App. Now I’m working in organizational development, project management, and creative writing.
Things I Work On
At any one time, I’m involved in a lot of different things. Here is a quick primer on all the things I’m working on at the moment:
Idea To App
Idea to App is a website dedicated to teaching people the ‘business side’ of making apps. It’s a monthly blog, collection of free email courses and tools, and a book available for Pay What You Want. If you’ve always wanted to make your own app (without coding) this is the place for you.
One of my goals has always been to write a series of lifestyle/self-help books. For now, I’m just trying to become a good writer. On my Medium blog I write about lifestyle, work, philosophy, and anxiety.
Pufferfish Software is a company that makes apps for people with autism. Our mission is to keep our apps inexpensive, so that people in any financial situation can afford the care they need.
